Bigotry? Naahhh…

CBS News reports on the history of violence at Fort Hood, Fort Carson, and other US military installations.

Does anyone recall any discussion, in any of these past cases, of the perpetrators’ religious affiliation when said perpetrator was not Muslim?

I’m just sayin’…

(hat tip: Instaputz)

  1. How could you not consider it part of the issue?

When an abortion doctor gets popped, we’re all pretty fuckin’ sure it’s a wingnut christian.

  2. Did I say that Hasan’s religion wasn’t part of the issue, Dan?

The question for the wingnuts is: Why is religion relevant to the commission of a crime only when the perpetrator is a Muslim?

  3. Because Christians make up the majority of the United States’ population.

  4. I misunderstood you.  Apologies.

The wingnuts most certainly were giddy that this  dude was a muslim, not only because he’s scary and brown and believes in allah, but because they can call this a ‘terrorist attack’ and liken it to September 11th.  And  after that, they’ll chalk it up to EVIL SOZALIST COMMUNIST PINKO DEATH PANEL WEATHERMAN LEFTIST ZOBAMA being in office.

  5. Because Christians make up the majority of the United States’ population.

In which case, it stands to reason that Christians would make up the majority of the United States’ mass murderers. I wonder why Christianity doesn’t get the blame for their actions?

Well, obviously they’re not going to blame themselves.
