Today I live in a world where if one of my boys turns out to be gay, he is a second class citizen because some religious figures chose to focus on homosexuals because its easier to keep people in the pews when you talk about other people rather than challenging your parishioners to actually live up to the message of love, sacrifice and service to others in the Bible. It is disgusting on so many levels.
