Yes, Derek Foley is a lying coward

Derek Foley is a college freshman majoring in microbiology at Ohio State. It seem that he has just about as much intellectual courage and moral sense as the microbes he studies.

In a recent blog post, he leapt to the defense of the torture techniques used by the Bush administration to elicit the “facts” that they wanted to hear. I undertook to debunk his flimsy arguments. Derek has decided that facts are inconvenient things, and that it is much much too dangerous to allow his readers to see said facts. He has deleted the comments I left at his blog because he fears the facts I presented. Of course, I have preserved a mirror of the comment thread as it was before Derek Foley decided that the facts made him nervous.

It’s a common reaction among the gutless wingnuts, especially the larval variety. Derek Foley has discovered that the harsh light of reality doesn’t agree with the fantasy world he has built for himself, so he scuttles under the refrigerator like all his kind.

Alas, the poor little insect hasn’t seen the last of me. I will continue to plague Derek Foley with the truth about the world, and the truth about himself — simply because liars of the Derek Foley variety so richly deserve the pain that the facts bring with them.

Note how I was able to dismantle each and every one of your so called “arguments”.

Translation: Note how handily I ignored the facts and moved the goalposts. Try it! It’s fun!

You presented “facts” that were either irrelevant (like how you said the Bush administration foiled the LA attacks in 2002. That was the 1st wave that was foiled. There were multiple plans, regardless of whether you choose to believe so or not),

Translation: Isn’t it great how easy it is to ignore a fact when you call it a “fact”? And it’s really, really handy to be able to reach up into my rectum and yank out a convenient fantasy like an imaginary second planned attack on Los Angeles. Phew, I sure am glad I had that shit ready to go…

…or were invalid (that the US form of waterboarding leaves lasting injury, can cause death, and causes severe pain). You failed to show that my points were invalid in any sense of the word. You repeatedly ignored my logic, instead jumping to say “nuh uh”, presenting the previously mentioned “facts”.

Translation: I’m so glad I never really defined this imaginary “US form of waterboarding”. It’s incredibly useful to be able to invent all kinds of silly-ass things that it does and does not do. Can’t do that if I allow myself to be tied down to the facts, now can I?

I meet people everyday who disagree with me. There is a big difference between those people and you. They are civil. They have arguments and reasoning that address my own arguments and reasoning.

Translation: They’re stupid enough to ignore the fact that I am a barefaced liar with less moral sense than one finds in the common housefly.

They concentrate on the discussion. You, however, spew inane comments, choose to ignore my arguments and facts, are rude, disregard logic, and ultimately, just end up wasting my time along with a good deal of space on my blog.

Translation: Your facts were taking up valuable space that I need to post more lies! Out, damned fact!

I can understand how this would be upsetting for you. What will you do with your time? Here are some suggestions. Go write another sci fi book. Read “Meltdown” by Tom Woods. Read the Constitution. Make some new friends.

Translation: Go away and stop exposing me for the dishonest shitwad that I am.

Honestly Terry, you aren’t worth my time. Discussions with you go no where.

p.s. Good to see you used the “find people” feature on OSU’s page. I am a Geological Sciences and Political Science major now. I switched last quarter. I saw too many ignorant numb-skulls and decided I had to do something.

The simple fact is that Derek Foley is a proven liar and an utter coward. He can’t conduct an honest discussion, so he deletes comments that cite inconvenient facts and lies some more.

And on the subject of torture, the question must be asked: Why do Derek Foley and his fellow torture fetishists want to hand al Qaeda a valuable recruitment tool?

Uh, no. I delete comments that have vulgar language, i.e. the language you use in your emails.

Note how the idiot Derek Foley is lying again. Take, for instance, this comment — Derek deleted it not because it contained any “derogatory language”, but because it included facts that he found terribly inconvenient.

So, what have we learned, boys and girls? We’ve learned that Derek Foley deletes comments not because of his feigned horror at “derogatory language”, but because he is too intellectually stunted to deal with the facts presented. And we’ve learned that after he deletes those inconveniently fact-laden comments, he will happily (and clumsily) lie about why he did so.

So far I have put meathead’s comments in the spam folder, and I have deleted one other because it contained the word “shit”. None others.

We already know that this is a lie. Once again, Derek proves that he believes that repeating a lie somehow magically makes it the truth.

For someone who is 67 years old, you have a lot of growing up to do.

Now that is hilarious. Derek Foley hasn’t yet learned that lying is wrong — and he is purporting to teach other people a lesson?
