Big Dog condemns flag desecration — sometimes

Oh, dearie me, get the smelling salts. Big Dog has his panties in a wad again:

In any event, the people who need to be fined and/or jailed are Jim and Mary Ann Kelly of Newark Delaware. They took an American Flag to DC and they had everyone who passed by sign it. Their desire is to have it put in the Smithsonian. They claim they love their country and they never want to forget this day [inauguration of Obama].

That is all well and good but the only thing that should be placed somewhere are these two morons. If they love their country so much why did they break the law and desecrate the Flag?

Flag desecration is terrible terrible TERRIBLE and you can always count on an über-patriot like Big Dog to speak out against it when it occurs. Right?

Right?

Well… not always. The silence from Big Dog is absolutely deafening when flags are desecrated by Republicans…

Big Dog’s reactions to these blood-curdling outrages against the American Flag?

    Yes, but what about all those flags the Democrats threw away at the convention? Big Dog sure was mad at that. But wait, that didn’t happen? That was another conservative myth? Say it isn’t so…

    Much ado about nothing. Writing on the flag may be a violation of Flag Etiquette, but if the writers have no nefarious purpose then I am not offended.

    However, is it necessary to point out Hoosier Mom’s real name when she wishes to remain anonymous? Many bloggers are anonymous for safety and for job-related reasons. I am one of them and I don’t “out” liberal bloggers for that reason.

    You can refute other bloggers without putting them at risk or impinging on their privacy.

    Take the name off, please.

    Now Terry, you wouldn’t like it if other people started disclosing your name to the public, would you?

    The lady in question is not a liar simply because she disagrees with you. Your response to her is very hateful and completely out of proportion to her post.

    It seems everything is personal with you. You not only have to disprove someone, but to destroy them completely. That is a common characteristic of the left—you can’t really argue with us because, well, we’re right and you’re wrong 98% of the time. So you have to resort to over-the-top crap like this.

    I will capture what you say here and perhaps a good lawyer could discuss the laws on libel and slander with you. Waddya say, Terry?

    I’ve never made that claim. Judy Doucette is a liar because she tells lies.

    I will capture what you say here and perhaps a good lawyer could discuss the laws on libel and slander with you.
