Porter Good: Confirmed Liar

Porter Good, the wingnut asshat who posts as “William Teach” at Pirate’s Cove, belches out a new lie:

The ground invasion was preceded by large-scale artillery shelling from around 4 P.M., intended to “soften” the targets as artillery batteries deployed along the Strip in recent days began bombarding Hamas targets and open areas near the border. Hundreds of shells were fired, including cluster bombs aimed at open areas.

Stop lying to your readers, Porter.

    Israel HAS been using cluster munitions (bombs and shells).
    I’m not convinced Porter lied though since the link meatbrain points to doesn’t have a date on it. If Porter said that the reports were unconfirmed on 1/4, and meatbrain’s link is from 1/5, then Porter was right, and meatbrain the liar.

    In any event, it’s just more name-calling from meatbrain, and the important thing is that YES, Israel is using cluster bombs, BUT so far it appears they’re only using them in open areas (they’re effectiveness is dramatically reduced in urban areas anyway/they’re designed for use in open areas).

    Not sure why Israel’s use of unguided munitions is worth more condemnation than Hamas’ though.

    Uh, that story came out well after my post, bub. And, you are, like most of the lefties who commented on the post, both at my site and Stop The ACLU, miss the point.

    Uh, what you described as ‘hysteria’ turns out to be cold, hard fact. The point, bub, is that you spread disinformation, and seem unwilling to issue a correction when your lies are exposed.
