Fiar | Conservative Humor,

You forgot the large number of Republicans that voted FOR Obama. While you might not consider them conservatives, they are people and they do vote. Their votes obviously count. I think you need to rethink your reasons why your conservatives couldn't even win a nomination this cycle.

The McCain/Palin campaign ran on that platform and it not only failed, it failed miserably.

No. McCain failed because he never met a conservative he didn't want to stab in the back. The Republicans ran a Democrat as their Presidential candidate and... Surprise, the base refused to vote. I can speak for myself when I say, I DID NOT VOTE FOR MCCAIN. I refused to. There was no clear reason to vote FOR McCain. They banked on conservatives being to scared not to vote against Obama, but they forgot that we don't take well to being coerced. The end result was, conservatives such as myself refusing to vote for a Democrat in Republican clothing. That is why McCain lost.

Fuck you asshole. You call it racism when someone calls him a chimp but it was OK for 8 years for you shitheads to call Bush a chimp?

Fuck you and fuck the bastards who live with double standards.

We can call this punk what we want and when we want. It is time people started treating him like you all treated the last guy.

Dickhead.

bq. ...when Obama takes over I will be here more often, see I am going to be as annoying and rude as you were for the last 8 years and I am going to show how it’s done...

Another amusing dimwit pops its head out of its ass long enough to inform us that it has no code of behavior of its own; it merely copies what it thinks others are doing.

bq. See I believe in doing things right.

An obvious lie. Really, it isn't even trying to be credible.

discredited propaganda organs like the Weekly Standard and the NRO, and we now have six months worth of their stupidity on file to throw in their faces and discredit them in the future.

Hey Meaty, you owe me a new keyboard after quoting that line right there. With the Media issued their own Obama Campaign kneepads so that they could be more comfortable servicing... er.. the campaign, the hubris, and the inattention to the irony, of that statement, to call them "propaganda organs", I pretty much spit out my evening coffee.

However, your candidate did win. And congratulations go to Senator Obama for an excellently ran campaign, and for becoming president-elect.

Time will only tell if he was the wise decision, and I hope, for the sake of the country, and our children, that President-elect Obama himself makes the wise decisions. In fact, with Speaker Pelosi's agenda, Obama might even become the voice of reason for the next two years....

I was at the rally last night in Grant Park. It was a truly humbling experience that I am still trying to completely take in. It didn't have so much to do with Obama himself as it did the crowd that was there and the energy that it created. Having seen that crowd first hand I feel very good about how real people feel about this election and not the virtual political world that exists on the internet. I think one of the many mandates of the Obama win is that people are done with the type of politics pointed out in your post. The McCain/Palin campaign ran on that platform and it not only failed, it failed miserably. I thought John McCain's concession speech was honest, real, and appropriate. I was happy to see the man I have respected in the past back.

For those that want to continue with the fear and hate, I will share one of my favorite religious quotes:

“You will not be punished for your anger, you will be punished by your anger.” -Buddha
