That's about the level he operates on. I'm sure he means for it to sound more menacing though. He compensates for being a nurse by acting like a belligerent bad ass so that his blog buddies won't assume he's a softy. In the circles he aspires to run in ignorance and anti-social behavior are celebrated (witness the worship of Sarah Palin). As a result, Big Dog, instead of being someone whose job it is to help people needs to put on a show about doing people bodily harm for not agreeing with his poorly thought-out, harebrained schemes, like defunding the military if a Democrats wins the Presidency. I'm not sure what more we can expect from someone whose tinfoil hattery results in him asserting (endlessly) that the 9/11 memorial in PA is an appeasement of Islam because it's crescent shaped. Big Dog is the Ignatius Reilly of the wingnut blog world. He's at war with progress and he's afraid to leave his secure little corner on the Intertubes. I'm hope Big Dog reads this checks out the book Confederacy of Dunces to learn more about Ignatius.
