Confirmed: Amy Proctor is a liar

We’ve talked about faux-Christian Amy Proctor before: she dismisses post-traumatic stress disorder as being unworthy of recognition as an injury, and she is quite willing to twist the content of a news story to fit her agenda. Now we know that she will resort to forgery to smear someone who disagrees with her.

Earlier today I posted a comment at her blog, questioning the factual backing of one of her posts. Amy is allergic to supplying evidence for her assertions, so she deleted the comment. Naturally, I called her on it, and reposted what I had said [mirrored here].

This time around, Amy decided to throw away anything resembling honesty, and altered my comment. Essentially, she chose to lie about what I had said. (Amy’s forgery is mirrored here, in case Amy tries to delete the evidence of her dishonesty.)

(As an aside, notice the deeply silly way in which Amy characterizes me as a “cyber rapist”. In Amy’s insular little fantasy world, any man who posts a comment she doesn’t want to hear is guilty of “raping” her. I am certain I do not need to point out to anyone who has a gram of decency in them just how offensive and disrespectful this is those women who have actually been raped. It’s clear that Amy Proctor is nothing but a common liar. Like so many other wingnuts, she will happily sink to any depth of dishonesty to pretend that she has “won” an argument. Sadly, she doesn’t realize that her lies simply confirm that she doesn’t have what it takes to participate in the honest political discourse the country so badly needs.

    Wingnuts need to learn how to debate without engaging in fraudlent activity. Amy clearly finds it easier to alter someone’s comments than engage them.

    I passed by there once and posted as Ed…I was trying to use point, counter point logic, and appeal to her claim to a religious faith, nada. She got frustrated with the logic and then blocked my comments to be approved by her before…censorship posting. I did not use profanity; there was just a different viewpoint. My observation is that Amy’s Blog is a place for a conservative group that thinks alike to pat themselves on the back gloating over their self-absorbed superiority. I really think that she believes she is doing the right thing and I applaud that however misguided. If you want to engage in senseless smearing, that is the place to go.

    She’s a stubborn one that Amy Proctor. Had I not seen the video of her on montel I might have thought she was just another shill prostituting herself for the far-right. Fanatics like her should be dropped on an island with the rest of the worlds religious fringe. Im just happy shes living in Korea.

    Ah Amy, the “Christian” .
    I drop by her blog once in awhile to get my fill of hate and bitterness(that’s all she has to offer). She and most of her rightie buddies love trumpeting their moral superiority(when they can use it as a club) – but don’t you dare try to  hold her up to her self proclaimed “Chrisitian” standards – that REALLY pisses her off.
    Beyond a doubt the most hateful bunch of so called “Christians” i’ve ever seen. How they go through life not seeing how they are colossal hypocrites is beyond my comprehension.
    But it’s still fun to visit and observe how the other half “lives”.
     
     
    The funniest thing about her site has got to be the “Christian” label that she pulls out to beat others over the head with  – but don’t call her out on her un-Christian behavior.

    Well, you guys are the “wingnuts” and who do you think would listen to this when your motto is “It’s meat! And it thinks!” utterly stupid if i do say so myself. Pardon me if im being a tad rude but you should look at yourself before you call someone else a liar. She posts trufull information to inform the people on her blog and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Thank you and i hope this makes you think twice next time.

    Yes, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But no one is entitled to their own facts. When Amy does not like what someone says in her comments section, she changes their words —  in effect, Amy lies about what her critics have said.

    How does that conform to your characterization of Amy as being “trufull”?

    I know Amy and her family personally, she’s a hero, and not a liar…easy accusation, but you offer no proof…just your opinion…which is no more or less valid than hers.

    False. I provide proof that she altered the content of my comment. Did you learn how to lie from Amy and her family?
