Voter Registration is Illegal? Let’s watch Jim Hoft scamper away from his lie

Jim Hoft, the lying scumwad that calls itself “Gateway Pundit”, has posted a claim that it is illegal to hold a voter registration drive in a mosque. Of course, this is because it’s in a — gasp! SHUDDER!!! — mosque. Christian churches hold voter registration drives all the time, and the Christian Coalition of America has encouraged churches to continue this practice.

Why is this illegal? I dunno. I can find no law that forbids churches — whoops, mosques — from holding voter registration drives. But maybe Jim Hoft knows something we don’t.

I’ve emailed him to ask:

Mr. Hoft:

You recently posted an article on your blog that claims that it is illegal to hold voter registration drives at mosques.

In light of the fact that voter registration drives are a common occurrence at Christian churches, I am interested to know what law, precisely, the mosques are violating.

I eagerly await your swift and learned answer.

Sincerely,

meatbrain

Let’s wait a bit and see if Hoft has the guts to answer, and if so, whether his answer contains anything but excuses and another torrent of lies.
