That charming fount of reason and civility, “Emperor” Misha, is again demanding that someone be murdered for the heinous crime of offending his delicate sensibilities.
To which I say: Put up or shut up, you puling gutless wannabe.
If you are indeed convinced that unrestrained homicidal violence is The Solution To All That Ails Us, then you should be out there killing people right now. Go on. Go out and start being a role model for all those brave, murdering culture warriors you want to set loose on society. Kill, and keep killing.
You won’t, of course, and for one simple reason: You’re a coward, Misha. Loudmouth bullies who make an endless string of hysterical threats do so because that is all they can do. Such threats are the product of fear and insecurity, not bravery.
So Misha exhorts other to do what he lacks the stones to do himself. Such is the way of the feckless wimp. Misha is an endless source of entertainment for those who recognize him for what he is, but little else.
Thanks for the laugh, melvin.

You’re an idiot.
Not a single word demanding ANYTHING in that ENTIRE post.
Are you sure you’re not a satire-bot?

Oh, please. Read Misha’s posts over time. He is constantly agitating for other people to go out and commit murder.
But he lacks the courage to do it himself. He’s a gutless milquetoast, an angry little worm.

And what, exactly, are you gonna do about it? Agitate for govermental regulation of free speech? If you don’t like what he writes, don’t read his posts.
A little common sense goes a long way, Terry.

I am not of the opinion that anything needs to be “done”. Misha’s cowardice is its own punishment.

“So Misha exhorts other to do what he lacks the stones to do himself.”
You mean sort of like your beloved Osama Bin Laden?

It’s a blog, moron. I get to say whatever I like. Get a bright fourth-grader to explain the concept to you.

Hmm. Maybe said fourth grader could give you a few lessons in civil discourse while he or she is at it.

Misha is very like Osama bin Laden in this respect, yes.
Of course, there is no evidence that I admire or “love” Osama bin Laden. But such gratuitous ad hominem attacks are to be expected from SkyeChild and its ilk.

When you stop asking idiotic questions, akorn, you’ll be entitled to civil discourse. Not before.

I wonder if you’re not overly familiar with AIR…We have a lot of fun being over the top there. If you don’t like it, don’t read it.
The post linked in now way “demanding that someone be murdered for the heinous crime of offending his delicate sensibilities.” He doesn’t demand anything. He doesn’t say it offended his sensibilities. The closest I could find was “Rope, Tree, CPS Worker. Some assembly required.” Not quite fitting the bill there.
As an aside, do you AGREE with what went on there in the article referenced in the post? You find that sort of behavior to be just fine and dandy?

That’s an exhortation to Misha’s readers to go commit murder. The fits the bill perfectly.
I frankly don’t give a damn what has Misha’s panties in a twist. The idea that murder is an acceptable remedy for anything is proof of his moral incompetence.

I see. Surely doesn’t seem like it to me. Seems more like the equivalent of saying ‘These folks deserve lynching by an angry mob of citizens.’ which is how he usually uses the ‘rope, tree [insert whatever], some assembly required” phrase. NOT “GO FORTH MY MINIONS AND SLAY!” which seems to be how YOU interpreted it. Most folks don’t commit murder by hanging folks from trees anyway. Now, if he had said “These folks piss me off! I want YOU, my readers to go and shoot them!” that might be more like what you saw.
On to the second point: So, if people start showing up and kidnapping YOUR children, using lethal force isn’t an option? (Admittedly, I’m not going to lynch someone trying to kidnap one of my loved ones, I’m going to shoot them. A lot.). What would you do? Ask them, pretty please, to stop?
If these folks are acting outside of proper government procedure (warrants, due process and all that), it’s not murder. It IS homocide, but not murder. It’s a legitimate use of lethal force.
On an unrelated point, do you have the faintest idea who Misha is, or who his readers are? Most are veterans (including Misha), or firefighters, or medics, or sometimes all three. Misha is himself a veteran (Danish). No one over there thinks Misha is telling us to go on killing sprees. No one there would anyway. Do YOUR readers follow your commands as mindless minions? I’m unaware of any blog-readers who get up in the morning an tune in their favorite blog to find their marching orders for the day (Well, Daily Kos readers maybe ;-P )

Not in the situation described by Misha, no. The US is a country of laws. Misha wants a country of lawlessness — where murder is routinely used to settle disputes.
If Orion wishes to fantasize that he is capable of reading the minds of all of Misha’s readers, the proper response is to point and laugh.

Wow. I was going to make some comments on other posts but MAN…You are one of those folks on the left that I believe discussion with is pointless. And I don’t say that lightly. No matter the testimony, evidence, or presentation, if it runs counter to your preferences and beliefs, it looks like you won’t even entertain it.
“Dressed up as a fighter pilot” – Bush WAS a fighter pilot. The article linked talks about the end of “major combat operations” – I don’t recall the US military engaging any formations of any army since then? “operations to secure” – we are doing that. Global Warming? Yah, a 10 year cooling trend is great evidence of that…Whatever. There was article after article on everything except 9/11 being a Bushhitlerco conspiracy – and maybe some of those. I just gave up looking.
I wish you luck with your blog – I would recommend you avoid the AIR – it’s not your style and not something you’re likely to enjoy at all. Lots of people who’ve been at the pointy end of the spear and know the facts on the ground ‘cause they’ve been there. A lot of blunt, colorful language, and nothing is PC. You’d be like a well-manicured French Poodle showing up at a dog park with a bunch of rough-and-tumble hunting hounds and wondering why your dog-show moves weren’t appreciated for their real-world use.

Make that “Justifiable Homicide”. I don’t see a reason for all the bile. Anyone stealing my children, regardless of the patch sewn to their arm, will be summarily killed. That just makes good common sense.

Yes it is. Of the people, for the people, by the people. The agency and judges mentioned in that post were clearly acting for their own interests, not the peoples.
What they were doing WAS kidnapping. If you think otherwise, I hope you never draw the ire of your local law enforcement. As someone who has experienced it, I can tell you, you wont like it.

You must really have the hots for Misha to be so ticked off at him. Most of us, when we find a blog we disagree with (like Kos or DUmmies), we don’t go there. We just let them play with themselves until they become totally bored.
You know, if you are so convinced that Misha is advocating murder, have you informed the proper authorities? If not, why not?
Another thing I’m wondering, how come you don’t have the cojones to come and say all of this to Misha’s face/blog? Why are you hiding behing a blog of anonymity?

Really? I have been a regular poster/participant at the Rott for several years. I don’t exactly say things that are popular on that site, and politically I am pretty much the opposite on 90 percent of the topics discussed there.
That being said, I don’t recall anyone being found dead because of anything said at Misha’s site.
Most people can see Misha’s writing for what it is: venting. Most people go to that site to kick it up and maybe have a good verbal yell. It is therapeutic at times—you should try it.
Like I said, I am the political antagonist of that site, and yet after all of the verbal punches, kicks, and low-blows, we could walk away and still be friends.
Maybe if you learned to participate there, you might understand it better. Sitting back here making a passive-agressive complaint about it is just a little silly.

Cite the instances in which you claim I have rejected some specific “evidence” out of hand.
Provide independently verifiable, documented evidence for this claim.
I am not aware that Misha is violating any laws.
I made no claim to that effect.
Most people are making excuses for a moral cretin.

sighs Okay.
1: Your post on Global Warming – You must certainly be aware that Global Warming has been so exploded as a cash-cow myth that they even changed the name to ‘Global Climate Change’. It’s main advocate is featured on ‘JunkScience.com’. Astrophysicists have pointed out primary solar causes for global temperature changes. All recent temperature records point to global cooling. Historical documents point to the likelihood of an end to the current interglacial period. The utter failure of all climate models to accurately predict the climate (I’m part of the SETI@Home-like attempt to FIND a working model. ANY model), yada yada yada. I VERY much want to believe in Global Warming. I’m an Engineer and it makes SENSE. Except all the evidence I can find points elsewhere. You skip past all this and decide that Global Warming is some sort of accepted fact. Hell, lad, it’s not even an accepted THEORY. Ever hear of the Heidelberg Appeal?
2: Your ‘But the surge is working!’ snark-post. You are clearly ignoring all the body of work of Michael Yon and pretty much every Soldier, Sailor, Marine, or Airman who has ever been to Iraq as well as the writings of most Iraqis, al Queda, most recently the BBC, and even Iran.
3: “Misson Accomplished? Suuurrre…” You completely discount the testimony of a USS Lincoln Sailor in favor of regurgitating some of Juan Cole’s blog-emesis, including a number of canards that have been disproved repeatedly (e.g. killed 200,000 Iraqis and destroyed the city of Fallujah – see Mike Yon’s posts about that city, with photos)
4: No matter how many AIR posters come here and tell you that you’re interpretation is badly mistaken, you refuse to change your opinion even to the extent of admitting that you badly mis-interpreted his original comment, which by now is even obvious to my cats. And they’ve been dead for 5 months.
5: “The Mommy America Syndrome” – not evidence, per se, but trend-data. You don’t find a man’s 20-year association with someone like Wright troubling? Even most DEMOCRATS find it troubling. They also find his constant dissimilitude on the subject troubling, along with his frequent positional changes. Again, if it’s leftist-tripe, it’s true to you!
6: “The Bush Legacy, No Plan” Um. That would be a great textbook entry in ‘cherry picking’. I think I’ll write the same thing about Obama and Clinton. You know, they also lack any sort of comprehensive plan to destroy the threat of rogue virii and close our borders to infected travelers! Again, trend-data.
The pattern I see here is someone who is so invested in leftist, anti-American doctrine that you spend your time not seeking data, but seeking data that matches your world-view. You seek fellow-travelers and like-minded people who write what you want to hear. When you DO look for contrary opinions, you find those that are totally over-the-top and hold them up as straw-men examples of the norm for that viewpoint. That’s fine and dandy, but don’t pretend it qualifies as ‘thinking’.
I could go on.

You’re equivocating. You said:
”Emperor” Misha, is again demanding that someone be murdered for the heinous crime of offending his delicate sensibilities.
If he is DEMANDING, isn’t that the same as advocating? I always figured that advocating murder could be grounds for an arrest.
Interestingly enough, you do the very same thing:
Go out and start being a role model for all those brave, murdering culture warriors you want to set loose on society. Kill, and keep killing.
Sounds to me that you are demanding that Misha go out and kill.
And just as there is no one at the Rott who would take Misha seriously, so we are not taking YOU seriously either.

See your distortions, etc. referenced in my above post. When you distort, lie, or use hyperbole, it’s just fine. If I do, everything I say can be dismissed. It makes it very convenient, doesn’t it?
And, as expected, you leapt for the tasty morsel dangled in front of you and proved my point very amply. To wit:
You find ONE word (and one that was obviously a silly bit of hyperbole) and from that you discount everything associated with it, because it doesn’t fit your preconceived notions. The only data you accept, the only arguments you listen to are those that you already agree with.

You continue to prove my point and add some emphasis for good measure. Discussion with you is pointless – much like masturbation, but not nearly as much fun. As Robert Heinlein said, “Never try to teach a pig to sing; it wastes your time and it annoys the pig.”

He is incapable of even citing a specific statement I have made, much less providing evidence that it was, in fact, a lie.
He certainly is done. He was done before he started. He’s a proven liar now.
