Kit Lange (nee Jarrell), noted genocide advocate, is outraged — OUTRAGED!!!!!, I tell you — about the latest ad from the Democratic National Committee, which takes John McCain to task for his willingness to keep US soldiers in Iraq for 100 years…

The fact that Dems would even THINK of using the deaths of two American soldiers to further their defeatist political agenda makes me want to put THEM by a palm tree with an IED.

Of course it does. Kit is a murder worshipper — disagree with her, express an opinion she dislikes, think the wrong thoughts, and the first and only response that comes to her mind is murder.

The thing is, they’re gleeful about it.

Kit demonstrates her amazing telepathic abilities. Of course no one is ‘gleeful’ that soldiers are dying in Iraq. That’s why keeping them for 100 years is such an asinine idea.

They’re unapologetic. Do they not get that those soldiers are someone’s husband and father and brother and son?

Why should anyone apologize for pointing out the fact that husbands and fathers and brothers and sons are dying in Iraq — and would continue to do so for a century, under the policies of John McCain?

What kind of ghouls are these people?

I have a better question: What kind of ghoul calmly asserts that he is “fine” with sending Americans to die in an occupied country for 100 years?

UPDATE 05/01/08 10:58 AM EDT: Citing the faux furor over the alleged source of the video footage, The Carpetbagger Report asks:

The RNC is worried about footage from a Michael Moore movie, after the RNC used footage from al Qaeda?

Whose side are they on?

Some meat thinks. Some doesn’t. This is what one chunk of meat has on its mind.

LOL.

I wonder what you wrote about when I took three months off. You’re welcome, by the way, for the material. You missed the Islamic post about goats and anal sex though. NYT picked that one up on their blotter.

Have a great day! Love the attention. =)

By the way…bet my comment never makes the front page. You’ll notice, however, that I choose to allow your retardation to stand on mine.

Kit loses. And she cannot explain what “retardation” she is referring to.

I find it interesting that Kit comments not on the substance of your post (which may be right or wrong, and I believe you might be quoting McCain slightly out of context), but on other non-substantive topics such as how she is providing you with “the material” for your post.

Personally, having been reading meatbrain’s blog for probably over half a year at least, I can attest that meatbrain certainly doesn’t need any one right-of-center blog for material. Meatbrain even posts non-political posts too, just like rightontheright.com’s Justin tends to post how great the Republican party is with the occasional sports post thrown in. That’s Justin’s thing, just like it’s meatbrain’s thing to post critiques of right-of-center blogs. Way to distract from the topic at hand Kit!

How is it that people actually think that this is how you have a debate? Sigh…

Way to distract from the topic at hand Kit!

That, of course, was Kit’s intention from the outset. Any discussion with Kit ends quickly when she realizes that she will not be successful in diverting the discussion with her ad hominem tactics.

Don’t you have a problem with the DNC using the footage of two U.S. soldiers being killed as a prop for their anti-McCain campaign? I don’t even like McCain but I think their use of the footage is beyond disgusting.

I’ve put nothing else in this comment because I want you to answer that question with no other distraction. DO you have a problem with their use of the footage?

DO you have a problem with their use of the footage?

No. Nor is that usage a “prop”. The death of US soldiers in Iraq is a fact.

April was the deadliest month for US soldiers in Iraq since last September. The policies of the Bush administration ensure that soldiers will continue to die in this occupation. McCain would continue those policies — and sees no reason not to do so for the next 100 years.

Warpimps like Kit would like to hide the fact of continued US casualties in Iraq, for the simple reason that such knowledge increases the public’s desire to get the United States out of the occupation business in that country. The alleged ‘disgust’ that Kit is whining about is simply a smoke screen for her desire to keep the public ignorant of the facts.

It is instructive to note that Kit’s manufactured outrage is occasioned not by the fact that soldiers are dying in Iraq, but by the fact that someone has dared to point out this fact — as well as the fact that soldiers would continue to die for a long time to come under a President McCain.

1. I don’t like McCain either, but not for the reasons you mention.

2. I think the war in Iraq has been mishandled, but I agree with being there.

3. Since when have I said I want to keep the public ignorant of the facts about casualties? In fact, to prove my point, I just wrote a post about casualties.

4. It is about respect. Two American lives ended in that split second, and those men died. That is worth more than a cheap political shot on TV.

5. Before you bother mentioning the “millions” of Iraqis that have died (or so you claim), let me just save you the trouble of trying to pin me into a corner. YES, I believe one American soldier is worth more than an Iraqis life. Hands down. And YES, I think if we’re going to end al-Qaeda’s reign over there, we need to be killing a whole lot more Iraqis. There’s your sound bite for the day.

Since when have I said I want to keep the public ignorant of the facts about casualties?

Kit fails to cite any instance in which I have attributed such a statement to her.

In fact, to prove my point, I just wrote a post about casualties.

Easy to do after she has been criticized.

It is about respect. Two American lives ended in that split second, and those men died. That is worth more than a cheap political shot on TV.

Remember, kids: Pointing out that McCain’s policies would ensure the end of many more American lives in Iraq is merely a “cheap political shot”.

Keeping silent about this fact is apparently the right thing to do, in Kit’s morally inverted world.

Before you bother mentioning the “millions” of Iraqis that have died (or so you claim)...

Where do I make this claim? Citations, please.

YES, I believe one American soldier is worth more than an Iraqis life.

Kit’s bigotry against anyone not an American is well-known. The reminder was unnecessary, but appreciated.

And YES, I think if we’re going to end al-Qaeda’s reign over there, we need to be killing a whole lot more Iraqis.

Kit’s enthusiasm for mass murder is well-known. The reminder was unnecessary, but appreciated.

You JUST SAID in your previous comment that I want to “keep the public ignorant of the facts.” I want no such thing.

I don’t have a problem with you guys talking about your disagreement with McCain’s statement. Freedom of speech and all that. But you could do it without the footage of American troops being blown up. That is ALL I am saying.

You JUST SAID in your previous comment that I want to “keep the public ignorant of the facts.” I want no such thing.

Kit JUST SAID in her earlier comment:

Since when have I said I want to keep the public ignorant of the facts about casualties?

She is still unable to cite any instance in which I have attributed such a statement to her. Her actions in whining about the footage in the DNC spot, however, make her intent quite clear.

But you could do it without the footage of American troops being blown up.

But the DNC chose to use the footage. Freedom of speech and all that.

I found Kit’s latest post on casualties to be quite entertaining. Apparently, no one should discuss the number of casualties resulting from the invasion and occupation of Iraq until said casualties outnumber those from earlier US conflicts. And her last bit was utterly hilarious:

They died for something. While tragic, their deaths preserve that much more time that you can freely go where you wish. Their deaths make it possible for you to road trip to your next rally without having to show papers at a checkpoint somewhere because you crossed state lines.

Golly. You gotta wonder: What sooper-secret evidence Kit has seen that Iraqi commandos were planning to invade the US and set up checkpoints between, oh, I don’t know, Kansas City and Des Moines? Talk about your fevered imagination. I think Kit’s seen one too many screenings of Red Dawn...

You make no sense, and as always, your arguments are boring.

You attribute a purpose to me (that I want to keep info from the public) and then claim you never said that I SAID I wanted to do that? Do you realize how asinine that entire thing is?

I also think it’s funny that you always refer to me in third person, even when talking to me.

You know, I would probably even send you a good book or something for your birthday, just because I had forgotten how much fun you are.

You make no sense, and as always, your arguments are boring.

Kit finds an argument to be “boring” when it is based on facts. She does, however, take great interest in her own fantasies about committing genocide.

You attribute a purpose to me (that I want to keep info from the public) and then claim you never said that I SAID I wanted to do that?

That’s correct. Kit is perhaps unaware that sometimes, people do not articulate their intentions. Nevertheless, those intentions are clearly discernable from the actions that such people take.

Do you realize how asinine that entire thing is?

“Asinine” is a word that describes well Kit’s fact-free assertion that the deaths of US soldiers in Iraq are somehow preserving freedoms that Iraq has never threatened.

LOL! ”...those intentions are clearly discernable from the actions that such people take.”

Well, based on the actions that you take, I can discern that you wish to see the United States overrun by jihadis. You do not take the position of “sticking up for” your own nation, but instead you trumpet the cause of suspected insurgents instead.

I can see why you’re not in the military.

HA! You’re writing on your site about me, you’ve followed me around for a few years now, talking smack about me and calling me everything from bigot to “noted genocide advocate,” and yet you have my comments linked as SPAM?

That is the funniest thing I’ve ever heard. Thanks for proving, yet again, that only liberals are allowed to have free speech.

Well, based on the actions that you take, I can discern that you wish to see the United States overrun by jihadis. You do not take the position of “sticking up for” your own nation, but instead you trumpet the cause of suspected insurgents instead.

Kit is unable to cite any specific actions I have taken that would indicate that I “wish to see the United States overrun by jihadis”. Nor can she document any examples in which I have “trumpet[ed] the cause of suspected insurgents”.

...you have my comments linked as SPAM

I have marked none of Kit’s comments as spam. There does seem to be a problem with the spam-blocking plug-in in use on ThinkingMeat.net. When I become aware of legitimate comments that have been mistakenly marked as spam, I take steps to recover those comments. I have whitelisted Kit’s domain name and IP address. With luck, this will prevent future misunderstandings.

I apologize to Kit for any inconvenience. Should she, or anyone else, find that their comments are being marked as spam, please feel free to notify me via email.

Thanks for proving, yet again, that only liberals are allowed to have free speech.

I thank Kit for proving, yet again, that jumping to conclusions is among the most popular forms of exercise in the wingnutosphere.

LOL. I appreciate the whitelist. You’re now my favorite liberal. ;)

Getting back to the original point of the post, the liberals like Meatbrain who claim to be outraged “that husbands and fathers and brothers and sons are dying in Iraq” (that’s other people’s husbands and fathers and brothers and sons, since most liberals tend not to associate with us) tend to forget that we are an all-volunteer force. We don’t need liberals to speak for us, or for our casualties. We know what we’re fighting for, and we’ll let you know when we want to give up the fight. Until then, Meat, speak for yourself, but don’t pretend to speak for us.

Moderation is on until further notice... details
