Golly, what a rich vein of pure unalloyed idiocy and mendacity is Andrew ‘Dipshit’ Richardson (aka ‘Gribbit’). Here’s his recent post entitled Non-Thinking Lefties Are At It Again, with my comments:
Those idiots on the left of the blogosphere who hide behind anonymity who write diaries and blogs which produce no original thought but rather degredates those of us who do are at it again. One who I call Meat for Brains, Terry the Science Fiction Writer, has the audacity to call me a “dipshit” and use my real first name in posts has yet to produce a post on his site that did not include the name of a fellow Conservative blogger. Not one.
Uh, Andykins… the problem you have, and it’s a doozy — is that you repeatedly make false statements that you know are false, or could verify with the least little effort. To put it bluntly, Dipshit, you don’t think about what you’re doing. The adjective “non-thinking” that you use in your post title applies most properly to your own behavior.
For instance, the assertion that I have “yet to produce a post on [my] site that did not include the name of a fellow Conservative blogger” is easily proven false. You told this lie because it was a cheap and easy way to “get back” at me, but you were too goddamn lazy to find out if it was disprovable. There’s a link on this page to the Archives of this blog. Click it, and you are shown a list of monthly archive pages stretching back to November 2005, when I began posting here. Let’s have a look at February 2008, in which the archives tell us I made 23 posts. Do we find that every post in February includes “the name of a fellow Conservative blogger”? No, we do not.
- Facts vs. Fears: Who Speaks For Islam?
- Good question
- A History of Evil
- “Zoe’s Tale” Auction Benefits Disabled Veterans
- Showing the harm
- Screw with the TSA screeners
- They Vas Chust Followink Orders
- Tell it, Henry
- Execution by Neglect
- Avoiding the A Priori Dismissal
That’s ten posts in one month that do not mention the name of any of your fellow conservative bloggers, Dipshit. The facts are easy to find. You prefer lies and laziness.
Then there is Kevin the Chimp who has the audacity to complain that I don’t allow comments on my posts at Stop the ACLU and that I ban Meat for Brains and himself from commenting here. Why should I? I mean you are another one who fails to produce any original posts.
It’s just as easy to prove that you’re lying about Kevin Beck’s blogging style as it is to prove that you lied about my own, Dipshit. I leave that as an exercise for the reader.
Calling me a “dipshit” and claiming that I lie are not ways to endear yourself to me or others. Obviously you’ve never read Dale Carnegie.
No one wants to endear themselves to a lying dipshit, Dipshit.
People, these are the ones along with the Daily Kooks, and the Dhummie Under Ground crowd that give bloggers a bad name.
No, lying cowards who are so gutless that they refuse to allow those who dare disagree with them to post comments give bloggers a bad name, Dipshit. Heck of a beam you got sticking out of your eye there…
Take a look around this site. I don’t as a matter of rule, regularly post about others in the sphere. I post about public figures and their policies. Too bad those on the left use personal attacks to make themselves feel relevant.
If you lie, Dipshit, you’re gonna get called on your lies. Deal.
Also as a rule, I do not link to these sites. They tend to link to me, but I refuse to link to them. My advice to my fellow Conservative bloggers, don’t link them.
We link to you because you’re a goddamn comedy gold mine, Dipshit.

As much as I hate to break it to you, meaty, free speech is regulated – at least a little – for reasons like piling slander on people…

If it is your claim that I have somehow slandered Andrew Richardson, kindly cite the specific statements that I have made that you consider slanderous, and explain how they meet the legal definition of slander.
You might also take a moment to refresh your understanding of the difference between slander and libel.

This is also a lie, or, equally as likely, either a failure to comprehend my words or a burst of wildly wishful thinking (Gribbit likes to think he wields power over people, since in real life he has virtually none).
Not only did I not complain about being banned, I wrote a post explaining in detail why banning people works against bloggers whose traffic is significantly lower than the people they’ve banned, and thus may be viewed as advantageous to the banned parties.
If Gribbit wouldn’t forbid my comments, I wouldn’t write posts about him that frustrate him because he can’t delete those also. I couldn’t care less if my words are erased from gribbitonline.com, a site no sane people visit expecting to see material of value. If I simply wanted to harass him I, like anyone, could do so using the infinite number of available proxies.
He’s lying or deluded, perhaps both, and he remains startlingly, malignantly stupid.

I would disagree with you on one small detail, Kevin: At this point, there is no degree of stupidity emanating from Gribbit the Dipshit that can fairly be termed “startling”.
