I noted a few days ago that Cao was repeating the “Obama has no accomplishments” meme because she is literally too stupid to find out what Obama’s accomplishments are. She’s worked hard since then to prove me right.
I provided Cao with links to several articles that list Obama’s accomplishments. Cao has thus far refused to read them. I challenged Cao to answer a question about just one of Obama’s accomplishments: the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act of 2006, which established a searchable online database tracking the distribution of nearly $1 trillion in federal grants, contracts, earmarks and loans. Obama co-authored this bill with Republican Senator Tom Coburn. And that is just one of Obama’s many documented accomplishments.
Her response to this challenge? She confirmed — again — that she prefers ignorance to knowledge:
I don’t give a **** about the bill you’re talking about
As I’ve said many times in the past: Wingnuts of Cao’s stripe simply do not care about facts. They drink the Kool-Aid dispensed by the Mighty Wingnut Wurlitzer™, and actively cultivate their ignorance of reality. Cao and her ilk do not want and could not engage in an honest debate of the issues facing this country — that is why they persist in making arguments based upon lies and smears.

PW: Did Cao answer the question she was asked, or not?
Did she engage in an honest discussion of Obama’s accomplishments, or not?

This is just silly:
1) Cao makes a statement (roughly “Obama has no accomplishments”).
2) Meatbrain does some googling and finds what looks to be some accomplishments and posts the links to the articles.
3) Cao then says “I don’t give a **** about the bill you’re talking about” without evaluating whether the link provided by meatbrain is an accomplishment or not.
4) Protest Warrior then engages in ad hominem attacks against meatbrain so he is wrong or should be ignored.
Ad hominem takes the form:
1) Person A makes claim X.
2) Person B makes an attack on person.
3) Therefore A’s claim is false.
GRANTED: meatbrain is not the most polite person on the web and does himself, make attacks on Cao and others but he also provides evidence (good or bad, I’m not evaluating any of his evidence at the moment) for the statements that he makes.
Could Cao or Protest Warrior please evaluate whether or not the links provided by meatbrain could be considered accomplishments by Obama or not. That would actually help resolve this debate.

Come now, socketplug. Asking a wingnut to examine the facts is like asking them to stick their family jewels in a wood chipper. It threatens the basis of their entire existence, the Invincible Ignorance™ that they hold more dear than life itself.
You are being exceptionally cruel, socketplug. Have pity on the poor, unused, virgin brain cells — billions of ‘em — that Cao and PW are trying to keep pristine and unsullied until the day they die.

Laugh! Being yourself I see.
I do believe that Cao and Protest Warrior (and Justin too) are honestly trying to make sense of the world just as you and I are. I also understand that at least some of us in this little web of aliases and blogs in this little corner of cyberspace on this little blue planet are frustrated with the current cultural and political climate. What amazes me, what I never expected before I started participating in blogging, is the level of vitriol and the lack of logical debate structure.
But in the interest of fairness I had to ask, since it is the reasonable thing to do. So I’ll ask again: Could someone please explain why the links meatbrain provided should not be considered accomplishments of Obama’s?
An aside: meatbrain could you please enable the ability to preview comments (if possible). I like to make sure my formatting works.

All sentient creatures try to make sense of the world. Not all of them try to do so honestly.
A “logical debate structure” can only take place when all participants are willing to examine the facts. The wingnuttians are not. Naturally, when I point this out, I am reviled as a troll and a stalker.
This is definitely on my List Of Things To Do In My Copious Spare Time, socket. The entire site needs an update. It will happen, fear not.

You’d think as so-called conservatives, they would appreciate the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act of 2006. It even has a Republican co-sponsor – and you can bet that if the shoe was on the other foot, they’d be heralding this as a great Coburn accomplishment.
The fundamental problem with conservatives is that they simply reject out of hand ANY accomplishments by non-conservatives. Moreover, they will literally do anything they can to prevent success, as evidenced by their relentless filibustering of Democratic initiatives in the Senate (they already broke the record for #’s of filibusters and we still have 10 months left in this session).
Look around their blogs long enough, and you’ll even find posts indicating their willingness to defund the troops (and surrender to ‘Islamofascism’ by extension) if Hillary wins.
I’ve addressed their willingness to destroy the village (in this case, the US) in order to ‘save’ it at the link below before and as an added bonus, you can see big dog go temporarily insane in the comments:
