More delicious hypocrisy from Cao

I only just noticed this fascinating little juxtaposition. In her recent bowel movement, Cao shat out the following:

My design is copyrighted just as Raven’s is. tsk tsk! I even put up a post about Meatbrain copying my pages and hosting them on his server, and he took them down, although he couldn’t help but put up a post crying and squealing about it. Poor little piggy.

It is interesting that someone who is so much better than everyone else and so ‘intelligent’ would remove those saved pages from the server; why would you remove them, Terry? Could it be because your hosting company agrees – when you mirror our sites you are indeed violating the copyright?

Cao is oh so very very concerned about copyright violation. Here is a section of a screen shot of the graphic header on Cao’s site:

Who do you suppose owns the copyright on that image? Do you really think it would be Cao?

Can you show proof that you have the copyright owner’s permission to use that image on your site?

    In psychology, hypocritical behavior is closely related to the fundamental attribution error: individuals are more likely to explain their own actions by their environment, yet they attribute the actions of others to ‘innate characteristics’, thus leading towards judging others while justifying ones’ own actions.

    That would describe YOU…who denies that he violated his TOS with his hosting company because he saved the pages from my website that are copyrighted.

    Linda Hamilton’s image has nothing to do with that argument, LOL!!!

    if you ever mirror a site- you MUST get written permission to do that from the site owner AND your HOST. If you do it again your service will be terminated. Immediately. ...this is from TRK Hosting.

    Cao’s entire web site is, in fact, available under the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 Unported License. This license explicitly states that anyone is free “to copy, distribute and transmit the work”, under the conditions that the work be properly attributed, that it not be reused for commercial purposes, and that it is not altered or transformed. Each mirror of Cao’s pages on this site is presented in accordance with Cao’s own licensing of her work under the Creative Commons license.

    Note that Cao continues to evade the questions regarding her own use of work that is copyrighted by others. As noted before, any discussion of her own possible offenses in this regard frightens her, and she flees in terror from such questions.

    You may in fact be right, PW. Note however that Cao uses this photo in something to which she claims copyright.

    It is telling that you only ask me about the use of the photo, and not Cao. Like her, you won’t deal with the uncomfortable questions.

    meaty, PW pointed out that pretty much the only people commenting here (aside from the very, VERY occasional meaty sycophant) are making fun of you.
