I've never been in favor of the government becoming an insurance provider. It requires too much bloat from the G and realistically it would probably not work out for either the medical sector nor the insurance sector. Now, on the other hand, should the government <i>offer</i> health care at the right cost having acted as a power buyer or broker, who's got a beef with that? I’ll never understand it.
