Is it acceptable, in the pursuit of a political goal, to attack a child and stalk his family?

If you’re a rightwing blogger, the answer is an emphatic “yes”.

But remember, kids… the folks on the right will tell you that they hold the moral high ground on everything.

Self-styled “Emperor” Misha, who has called for the murder of police, as well as a judge and a district attorney, has jumped on the cockroach bandwagon, adding his tinpot approval to the wingnut attacks on Graeme Frost and his family. No surprise there… it’s not like Misha has any intent of growing a set of scruples. Attacking a child and his family even after the facts show that the attacks are scurrilous and false simply serves as further proof the Misha lacks any moral code whatsoever.

These people think the premise of not doing the worst possible thing to even the smallest political enemy at every possible opportunity would be nothing but an act of weakness. God help them and me both, but I sincerely hope they someday find themselves on the receiving end of the same treatment. They lack all semblances of human empathy: like exceptionally vicious and stupid dogs, punishment in-kind would be the only way they would ever learn. No, that is not true — dogs do learn from kindness. In the entire animal kingdom, only conservatives do not.

It’s long past time for people to stop treating Fox-style, Malkin-style, Limbaugh-style conservatism as merely a “political” phenomenon. It may once have been, but it isn’t now. As of this millennium, it’s nothing but a hate movement with neckties. Protofascism with bright, patriotic logos. Stop treating it with anything but revulsion and disdain. Stop pretending for even a bare moment that they are anything more than thugs.

    50 thousand a year is more than enough to live on….why do they drive an suv? Why not a cheaper minivan or smaller car?

    They already get tuition to a school paid for by the state for their one kid amounting to a small fortune…..why should we subsidize their lifestyle? They may not pay all of their tuition, but why can’t they buy their own health insurance (with no deductible it runs less than 700 a month for their zip code).

    Why should we subsiduze this or any other family?

    What was written about the frosts was this:

    Now do you get that? She is going to a private school to help her with brain injuries suffered after the accident, and the state pays the 23,000 dollar a year cost.

    You see? This is why people call you names and think you are sofa king re todd ed…...because we leave comments that allude to the articles we are writing about, and any sane, thinking person would have read the articles, remembered what was written in them and be able to piece together what the writer of the comment must mean in context to what was been read and written about.

    If you cannot afford insurance there is medicaid programs all across this country.

    If you do not qualify for medicaid then go buy your own damned insurance.

    If you cannot afford insurance and make too much to qualify for medicaid then you are making bad choices, living beyond your means or are in idiot.

    I have to budget to afford my healthcare, and go without things I would like to have (such as a nice industrial building for my business or a big ass SUV) then again I am not stupid enough to have more kids than I can afford to take care of…....which leads me to the question of WHY are we being forced to pay for healthcare for people that have a mess of kids and can’t be responsible for their own offspring?

    Why must the government steal from those of us that live wisely to provide fo those that don’t?

    I wish stupidity were painful, maybe then these people wouldn’t be having more kids than they could afford.

    WIC is for women with infants and children, and I had a friend that made 20 dollars too much to qualify for it while illegal aliens with thier newborn children were getting all kinds of free stuff. My friend worked hard, paid her taxes and is a citizen, and couldn’t get the help that people who snuck over the border were getting. But that’s another side of the story.

    I, being technically disabled, could qualify for a lot more public subsidies, IF I were to sell my property AND show where and how I used the money. Until I do that I would not be able to get SSI to help me out, AND I am limited as to the amount of income I can bring in, one dollar too much and I will be liable for a bigger chunk of my healthcare (which is substantial), so don’t go telling me about the system here asshole.

    I deal with it constantly, and by law MUST use medicare, AND I have to balance how much I work to stay eligible in my healthplan as opposed to how much I bring in to not lose other benefits that I worked hard to get. If I had a prosperous business I would mortgage it to the hilt to get my kid the best healthcare without stealing it from others, like yourself.

    That is the difference between you and I meaty. I don’t believe in stealing from my fellow countrymen to assuage some false sense of guilt due to someone else’s bad luck or bad choices.

    You are the morally bankrupt, thieving coward here, not us on the right side of the aisle. We believe in personal responsibility, taking the consequences for our own actions and not taking handouts or stealing from our fellow citizens to get by.     I have to, by law, be enrolled in medicare for my condition. No doctor will take patients such as myself without medicare. I cannot get any other type of aid from the government as long as I have resources such as property to draw on for income.

    What part of this don’t you get?

    I am forced by law to use medicare, and the only way out of that is to have 20 grand I could toss at medical bills each month. I do not yet have that income, but am working towards it.

    So, if I cannot have government assistance that I would be eligible for as long as I have resources, why should they keep resources and get aid?
