The parade of moral incompetence continues. Over at the cesspool known as ‘And Rightly So’, Raven gives us another example of the eliminationist rhetoric that pervades the right-wing’s online hatefests. Expressing her mindless hatred of Congressman John Murtha, she says:
Dumbo surely realizes the US Capitol Building is a high value target; the only good thing that might come of a suicide mission-attack on this building would be that Murtha is in his plush office when the hour arrives.
Yeah. That’s right. I hope he gets blown up. He deserves it.
Now, the wingnuts back a big, big deal about how the “enemy” (aka Terrifying Brown People™) wants to take away our freedoms. One of those freedoms, perhaps the freedom Americans prize most highly, is freedom of speech. Raven herself has even said that "Freedom of speech is great and I don’t want to see that change either". But it seems that Raven only wants freedom of speech when the speaker doesn’t piss her off. When someone says something that she doesn’t like, then Raven decrees that person’s freedoms must be ended by ending his life.
Unfortunately, Raven isn’t an oddity on her end of the spectrum. Read the far right blogs, listen to the far right radio talk shows — so many of the rightwing whackjobs believe that the penalty for disagreement is death. They’ve become just as morally twisted as the Islamic jihadists they profess to hate.

Yep thats me Meatballess.
It’s a little different when a member of Congress has the power and plan and support of more than a few co horts, to take your idea of free speech and turn it against the troops (whom I know you have little respect for -most balless wonders such as yourself are afraid of the US military..) When people like you and me and Kender and Cao and Kat and Big Dog and Michael and Ogre speak (via blogging) we’re simply stating our thoughts and yes..feelings. Unlike members of Congress, our words have little effect.
Murtha isn’t speaking like we do. He’s using his corrupt powers to undermine our country. So yea…I hope he’s a victim of the next terror attack that he can thank himself for bringing to our soils.
Oh how is the Mountain Dew these days??? And I hear you made a commercial for Jergans hand lotion?? Cool. OH!! And I want a copy of your new book as well…signed but not drooled on please.

Then lets talk abnout murtha bypassing due process by stating for a fact (before charges even) that soldiers were “killed in cold blood.”
Lets talk about a former Marine that advocates surrender of our forces. Anyone that advocates a cut and run attitude is a coward and doesn’t support the troops.

Murtha has been involved in corruption which undermines this country no matter what member of Congress is involved. His defamation of US Marines and prejudicial statements have undermined our efforts.
You and all the other leftards seem to think that by throwing around racism allegations it will make your arguments stronger. These comments about terrifying brown people hold no water. We are not errified of them and we don’t care what color they are. Most of them happen to be brown but there are a whole lot of black ones and some white ones recruited from this country and from the UK.
Color has nothing to do with it, ideology does. So let us try to get that straight and stick to the point.
BTW, I heard you were working on another book. Can I sign up now to get it early? I also heard your second interview, very nicely done. Sorry to hear about your finger though.
FWIW, I believe that this country would have been better served had one of the planes hit the Capitol. Then they would take the threats seriously. It is tough for them to do because they are whisked away to a safe bomb shelter when there is a threat because they are so damned important. If they had been hit then they would have a better understanding.

John Murtha (D-PA) was one of the Congressmen videotaped in an encounter with undercover FBI operatives.[6] Although never indicted or prosecuted, he was named an “unindicted co-conspirator” in the scandal. As such, he testified against Frank Thompson (D-NJ) and John Murphy (D-NY), the two Congressmen mentioned as participants in the deal at the same meeting. A short clip from the videotape shows Murtha stating “I’m not interested… at this point” in direct response to an offer of $50,000 in cash. [7]
While this statement has been a reference point for Murtha and others who proclaim his innocence, detractors point to the complete video, which offers a more ambiguous picture.[8] At issue are the indeterminacy of Murtha’s intentions along with the fact that he did not report the attempted bribe following the meeting, a violation of House Ethics Rules. Murtha was also taped saying, “You know, we do business for a while, maybe I’ll be interested…” – causing many to question what role he may have played had the operation not been ended early due to media exposure.
In November 1980, the Justice Department announced that Murtha would not face prosecution for his part in the scandal. The U.S. Attorneys Office reasoned that Murtha’s intent was to obtain investment in his district. Full length viewing of the tape shows Murtha citing prospective investment opportunities that could return “500 or 1000” miners to work. In July 1981, the House Ethics Committee also chose not to file charges against Congressman Murtha, following a mostly party line vote. The resignation later that day of Republican E. Barrett Prettyman, Jr., the panel’s special counsel, has been interpreted as an act of protest.[9]
Mr. Murtha remains prominent in Congress, and has been re-elected by his constituency 13 times over a course of 26 years.

Murtha wasn’t convicted…but he was intimately involved and he became a traitor to others.
He also has been under fire for House Ethics Rules violations:

Lawmakers, aides say Murtha Iraq-withdrawal proposal dead
By Mike Soraghan
August 01, 2007
The opposition of the Progressive Caucus also apparently doomed a proposal by Reps. Neil Abercrombie (D-Hawaii) and John Tanner (D-Tenn.) demanding a redeployment plan from President Bush. The measure will not get a vote this week.
Progressive Caucus lawmakers met Tuesday morning and agreed they would not support any Iraq measure that does not include a firm timetable for withdrawal.
“We don’t want to see any retreat,” a Progressive Caucus member, Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.), said.
That kicks the withdrawal debate ahead to September, when Gen. David Petraeus is to issue a report on the success of
President Bush’s “surge” plan. Many Republican lawmakers have said they will re-evaluate their support of Bush’s strategy based on the report.
But House leaders are still emphasizing a vote this week on giving troops more time at home between deployments. The legislation by Abercrombie and Rep. Ellen Tauscher (D-Calif.) mirrors an unsuccessful bill by Sen. Jim Webb (D-Va.) that would require soldiers to spend as much time at home as they do in the combat zone.
“We wanted to have the strongest possible vote as everyone left town for August,” a Democratic aide said.
Progressive Caucus leader Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) said she wants to “start a conversation” about her proposal to stop the training of Iraqi security forces. Progressives have become concerned that the U.S. military is inadvertently training insurgents.
Waters’s discussion would come during debate on the Defense Appropriations bill, which is scheduled to come up Thursday. The Rules Committee decided Tuesday to allow open debate.
Details of the demise of Murtha’s amendment are still murky, but there are indications that House leadership had a hand in it. As chairman of the Defense Appropriations Subcommittee, Murtha had announced his plans to seek an amendment on the floor demanding that withdrawal of troops begin in 60 days, but not put a “date certain” for the withdrawal to be completed.
Republican opponents of withdrawal amendments often say they won’t support an “artificial timetable” for withdrawal. Murtha said his language was intended to remove that reasoning and see if Republicans still supported the administration. He also questioned whether troops can be withdrawn.
Murtha does not appear to have consulted with House progressives or House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.). Asked if he’d talked with the Speaker at the time his committee sent the defense spending bill to the floor last week, Murtha replied, “She’s always supported me before.”
But Waters, Rep. Lynn Woolsey (D-Calif.), and Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.), the trio that leads the Out of Iraq caucus all panned the bill the same day, dismissing it as backsliding.
Democratic aides said Murtha appeared to have gotten ahead of himself, proposing major legislation without checking with leadership or counting votes.
Waters rejected that assessment, saying the veteran lawmaker had earned the right to offer what he saw fit on defense matters.
“Members who’ve been around here a long time do what they think is best,” Waters said. “We don’t think we’re so powerful that people have to come talk to us,” she added, referring to Lee, Woolsey and herself.
Murtha spokesman Matt Mazonkey said, “Mr. Murtha remains committed to finding a reasonable way to redeploy as soon as practical from Iraq.”
Rep. Jim Moran (D-Va.), when asked about the amendment Monday night, said, “It’s in leadership’s hands.”
The amendment was discussed during Monday night’s leadership meeting, though no final decision was made. When votes concluded Monday night, Murtha left the floor in an angry mood. The often-talkative cardinal brushed off a reporter, saying, “I don’t want to answer any questions.”
Murtha met with Lee, Waters and Woolsey Tuesday morning. Afterward, Waters and Woolsey said the Murtha amendment would not come up this week. That was later confirmed by Democratic aides, who added that Abercrombie-Tanner also had been nixed.
Democrats expressed concern that the measures, especially Abercrombie-Tanner, would give Republicans “cover” to say they’d voted for a change in course in Iraq without taking concrete steps to remove troops.
Abercrombie said that argument doesn’t hold water. He said Democratic leaders should have scheduled a vote on his bill “if the Democratic Party wants to go home and say they did something on Iraq. The only ‘cover’ we care about is the cover that the troops need in Ramadi and Fallujah.”

I read the news today oh boy
About a lucky man who made the grade
And though the news was rather sad
Well I just had to laugh
I saw the photograph
He blew his mind out in a car
He didn’t notice that the lights had changed
A crowd of people stood and stared
They’d seen his face before
Nobody was really sure
If he was from the House of Lords.
I saw a film today oh boy
The English Army had just won the war
A crowd of people turned away
but I just had to look
Having read the book
I’d love to turn you on
Woke up, fell out of bed,
Dragged a comb across my head
Found my way downstairs and drank a cup,
And looking up I noticed I was late.
Found my coat and grabbed my hat
Made the bus in seconds flat
Found my way upstairs and had a smoke,
and Somebody spoke and I went into a dream
I read the news today oh boy
Four thousand holes in Blackburn, Lancashire
And though the holes were rather small
They had to count them all
Now they know how many holes it takes to fill the Albert Hall.
I’d love to turn you on

Mother do you think they’ll try to break my balls?
Mother should I build the wall?
Mother should I run for president?
Mother should I trust the government?
Mother will they put me in the firing line?
Mother am I really dying?
Hush now baby, baby, dont you cry.
Mother’s gonna make all your nightmares come true.
Mother’s gonna put all her fears into you.
Mother’s gonna keep you right here under her wing.
She wont let you fly, but she might let you sing.
Mama will keep baby cozy and warm.
Ooooh baby ooooh baby oooooh baby,
Of course mama’ll help to build the wall.
Mother do you think she’s good enough—to me?
Mother do you think she’s dangerous—to me?
Mother will she tear your little boy apart?
Mother will she break my heart?
Hush now baby, baby dont you cry.
Mama’s gonna check out all your girlfriends for you.
Mama wont let anyone dirty get through.
Mama’s gonna wait up until you get in.
Mama will always find out where you’ve been.
Mama’s gonna keep baby healthy and clean.

A. Definition of “Unindicted Co-Conspirator”
[II.A.1] The term “unindicted co-conspirator” refers to any person who allegedly “agreed with others to violate the law but who is not being charged with an offense and who, consequently, will not be tried or sentenced for his criminal conduct.”(24) The law permits admission of unindicted co-conspirators’ statements and acts performed during and in furtherance of the conspiracy as evidence in determining the guilt or innocence of the indicted conspirators.(25) Prosecutors often have enough evidence to indict these individuals, but instead name them as unindicted co-conspirators for a variety of strategic reasons.(26)

Wrong. The point is that Raven started out claiming that Murtha deserved to die for “using his corrupt powers to undermine our country”. Her corruption argument, alas, has fallen apart — Raven cannot explain why a man who was not indicted for corruption, nor tried for corruption, nor convicted of corruption, nonetheless deserves to die for being corrupt.
So Raven simply substitutes other crimes, and continues to wish death upon Murtha. The real reason for the moral vacuum in Raven’s soul is clear: she has surrendered herself to hatred. Hatred does not reason. Hatred simply hates.

So now you’re disrespecting the Marine Corps? Is there nothing that you don’t hate, Raven? And you think that Bushitler is better than Murtha? Do the words “Skull and Crossbones” mean anything to you? Have you ever looked into those connections? These are the same people who shot Kennedy to keep their secret! With their global one-world government goals set in motion, they will soon be unstoppable. Just wait for the 2008 October surprise—it’s going to ensure that Bushitler remains in power and remains killing our young men!

Murtha is a disrespect to the Marine Corps!! I LOVE MARINES. THEY MAKE ME HORNY (except that old nOn mArInE Murtha…)

You’re the one saying Murtha should die. I suspect that Bushitler will order his death soon, if he doesn’t shut up. That’s what’s going to happen to all who oppose him, including meatbrain. Do you realize how many secret prisons they have set up in oil-producing countries? Hill 42? Hello? I heard word that Murtha was planning on visiting Cuba to tour the American torture cells there, but he stopped when it was revealed that Haliburton had a contract out on his life if he visited. WAKE UP!

Well, Well, Well….we do seem to have something of an issue here.
Libtards projecting their favorite meme about free speech. Except when it’s theirs onto us right-wing deathbeasts.
Libtards incapable of distinguishing the difference between rhetoric and hyperbole versus actual, articulated threats. It’s a common literary technique to engender a strong disagreement with the target (MurthaFucker) in this case and the readers.
Hate, Hate, Hate, Hate, they spew again and again as they swirl faster down the toilet-bowl into irrelevancy.
Hate is Palestinians strapping dynamite belts onto teenagers and detonating themselves in Israeli pizza restaurants. Hate is forcing children to watch their parents being lowered into shredders feet first. Hate is flying airliners into office buildings full of innocent people. Hate is stoning young women to death for ‘their’ crime of being raped.
Incapable of comprehending physical acts and hyperbole condemning those that aid and abet the real hate, they play the moral equivocation game. Conservative ideology is no different in character than gassing Khurdish villagers.
When asked to debate factually, they resort to painting the other side as racist or bigots, much as 3rd graders on the playground.
MeatforMaggots can’t comprehend basic english, and returns with the racist card in lieu of an obvious argument.
But that’s OK, momma says everything will be alright.
Mommy’s alright, Daddy’s alright, they just seem a little weird.
Surrender, surrender, but don’t give yourself away, ay, aaaaaaaay.
He came out of the closet to get more pork rinds, the hot-pocket got cold and the batteries in his mega-death butt-plug went dead.

All true. Hate is also insisting that someone should die, merely because they disagree with the hatemonger’s views on the war in Iraq.

Amazing. Someone who writes “Maybe I should put it in language you understand….Durrr, guurr dhuud uuh…...but then since I can’t write it in crayon for you you probably wont read it” displays this as the possessive form of his own name on his blog:
Kenders’
He also thinks that various plays of meatbrain’s handle and jokes about his sexuality are sufficient to prove a point.
Meanwhile, Raven—busy posting song lyrics in lieu of even trying to make sense—and some genius whose blog readership is more likely to not recognize that the U.S. is a secular country are swinging fast and furious in an effort to get their irrelevant licks in, too.
Regardless of the issues, I have to wonder: Isn’t it obvious by now to the “conservatives” here that tactics like screaming “you homo! And gay too!!” and making fun of a name someone has chosen as a joke are not working? That by making it clear as can be not only that you have no answers to meatbrain’s questions but that he’s gotten vry deep under your collective scaly skins, you’re validating his entire purpose?
I guess one ancillary benefit to uncut raging stupidity is not having the wherewithal to be ashamed over being toyed with. Now quit breeding and voting, and America might stand a real chance.

I’m not sure, but I wouldn’t be surprised if The Illuminati are working WITH Murtha—to give you something to focus on so you won’t see or care about the Haliburton contracts full of money. I don’t have a single clue what the hell you are all talking about. But I did notice that at the top of this blog the colored blocks that stand out are in the order of 3…2…1…3. That adds up to 9 and if one continues on the function one will come to another 2…which, of course, if added to the nine is 11. So you see it only stands to reason that the author of this blog is behind 9/11. In fact, the words “Thinking Meat” have 12 letters total plus there are 2 words, that adds up to 14…half of 14 is seven. Which is the number of the building supposedly brought down by the machiavellian Bush administration. Coincidence? Well check this out…the word “Meat”, if each letter is assigned a number based on its place in the alphabet, adds up to 39…39 backwards is in fact 93…the year of the first attack on the World Trade Centers. Ah, but there is more. The word “Thinking”, if the letters are added in the same way, come out to 92… so we have the 9 and along with the 2 we have 11…again 9/11. I could go on. But it is already painfully obvious that the author of this blog is a conspirator, or at the very least a co-conspirator, of not one but both attacks on the World Trade Centers.
I will be contacting the FBI forthwith with the above indictments.

Murtha lied about his purple hearts, lied about Abscam, lied about the Haditha marines, encouraged Clinton to pull out of Mogadishu, and is a walking disaster—just like the rest of the democrats.
*Iraqi’s gross domestic productin 2004 was up 14% over preward levels.
*per capita income doubled between 2003 and 2005 and was 30% higher than it was before the war.
*Iraq’s unemployment dropped to 28% from preward levels of 33%.
*US efforts added 1,400 megawatts of electrical power across Iraq, expanding the grid to reach 4.2 million citizens.
*Oil production nearly reached preward levels of 2 million barrels a day, despite sabotage to the delivery systems.
*An independent media of 170 newspapers, 72 radio stations and 29 television stations rose after the collapse of Saddam’s regime.
*Between 2003 and 2005, renovations were completed on 3,211 schools, 20 hospitals were renovated, and construction was finished on 76 water tratment plants, 30 sewer plants and 33 fire stations.
Contrary to leftists who want to celebrate soldiers when they frag their officers and encourage them to ‘conscientiously object’ or go AWOL (like the truther movie producer did)-there is palpable very real change and progress going on in Iraq since Saddam’s regime fell.
And frankly, I don’t give a shit if Raven says that Murtha should face conseequences…a lot of people in the military feel that way, like Army Lieutenant colonel Christopher Stark:
“It is indeed fitting that you are a member of the same political party as another traitor and seditionist, former Lieutenant John Kerry USN…We are at war, Representative Murtha, and your actions and conduct give aid and comfort to our enemies…You have dishonored all of those you have fought and died up to the day you stood on the floor of the House of Representatives and demanded that we withdraw immediately. Yes, Representative Murtha, you have given aid and comfort to our enemies in a time of war. You have given them hope, which they have fast been losing, due to all of the victories and sacrifice by our sons and daughters on the field of battle in Iraq and Afghanistan. You have been honored by our enemies on the front page of Al Jazeera…Be advised, my son is a Marine Officer. He has commanded men in battle through two(2) tours and he is due to return to Iraq on a third tour. If he should be harmed in any way as a result of your actions on the floor of the House this week, I will do everything within my power to see to it that you are driven from office and that you are charged and tried for treason and sedition.”
Murtha’s very visible allies are Code Pink, United For Peace and Justice and International ANSWER. I hardly think that someone allied with communists belongs in the Senate considering he took an oath to ‘defend the constitution.’ He’s in bed with people who want to do away with the constitution all together.

I don’t know who this Raven and Kender are but they are real right wing whack jobs. Anyone can see that Meatbrain is right on target with his observations. The Internet needs more like him, unafraid and willing to tell it like it is. Kender is so dumb he can not even show how an un-indicted co-conspirator is a conspirator because he talks out his rear. He is like all these other Bush toadies who follow the unelected president around like puppy dogs.
I know exactly how all these people are because the right wing has been doing things to mess up this country for a long time. Kennedy beat Nixon fair and square yet the Rethuglicans said that Chicago cheated. Then, Nixon and his henchmen threatened Lyndon Johnson (Johnson had a homosexual love affair that J Edgar Hoover knew about because he was the lover). They got Johnson to talk to Jack Ruby, who Johnson knew from his business days, and Ruby enlisted Oswald to shoot Kennedy.
Now Jackie Kennedy wanted the top up but Johnson told the president that he needed to be visible to the people so that they would reelect him in the next election. This gave Oswald a clear shot. Then, the Nixon gang got Johnson not to run so Nixon could get elected in 1968 because he felt he had won in 1960. Nixon had people secretly working on a moon landing so that when he became president (once Johnson was out of the way) people would think it was he, not the dream of Kennedy who made it happen.
The thing is, they did not actually go to the moon. Nixon had friends in the movie business and finance world who were blackmailed into making the moon landing movie (Nixon’s people were holding the families hostage at a military base in Roswell). The movie people cleverly inserted items like shadowns and wind that would not be present on the moon so that people would know it was a fake. George H W Bush worked with Nixon in order to keep GW Bush out of Vietnam, which Nixon promised.
Then, Gerald Ford paid John Dean to dupe GG Liddy and the others into pulling off Watergate. They were supposed to get caught but the police were called to another emergency so Dean told everyone that the bug did not work so they had to go back. This time they were caught and Ford told Nixon to do whatever Dean told him to hush it up and then let it “slip” that Nixon taped his meetings. This brought down Nixon so Ford could be president.
Carter won and Ford was mad so he orchestrated the Iran hostage crisis so that Carter would lose to Reagan. Year later, after he was elected, GW Bush found out that the last remaining guy who made the Moon movie was alive and working in New York at an office in the WTC. He was writing a book about it and it implicated Bush and the others in the moon movie plot and it showed how Bush worked with Nixon to stay out of Vietnam. Bush orchestrated the 9/11 attacks in order to kill this guy and keep the book from being published. The problem is, the CIA had info on this because the guy had spoken with them and they were compiling a big dossier on Bush so he had WTC 7 imploded along with the WTC, which were hit with Cruise missiles made to look like planes and then imploded. This act got rid of a problem and gave Bush a reason to go after Hussein (he did not care about bin Laden) because Bush’s family had secretly paid Hussein to invade Kuwait so HW could look tough by forcing him home (this is why we did not go to Baghdad in the first war). The yellowcake Hussein got was actually from some business associates of HW and that is how GW knew about it. Hussein figured that they were coming after him to shut him up because he kept records of the WMD that HW had gotten sent to Iraq.
9/11 allowed GW to kill the writer and to go after Hussein (he lulled him into a false sense of security by going into Afghanistan first). Hussein was trying to get his story out but Bush kept him confined so that he could not talk to anyone and used one of the doubles that was captured to sit in jail and make like a nice guy to guards.
The Rethuglicans are bad people and you can see how they harmed this country. I am proud that the truthers are getting this in the open and once we have evidence that Bush dropped those towers we are going to expose him.
Then Kender and Raven can shove their right wing holier than thou attitudes up their blowholes.

I don’t come here too often, mostly because I don’t like the way that the blog owner argues, he asks the same question over and over and over even after he has been given responses that would satisfy a professor of Logic in any university.
Having said that, I am appaled at the sheer affrontery of this Raven lady and Kender gentleman (I’m being generous with the terms lady and gentleman). I’ve watched tape, after tape, after tape of so many political shenannagans that I’m sick of the process. Murtha is a hero, he was decorated for his actions in Vietnam, and he should be listened to. He is a crook, but that came much later and we should cut him a little slack because of what he did do to serve our country. The fact that he was an unindicted “co-”conspirator says worlds to me. He also comes from a very poor area of the country and so some pork would be justified to help raise those people out of poverty. Calling for his killing as some have done is stupid, how would that help this country.
I don’t know why I bother with blogs anyway, those that read them are typically to lazy to go get the answers for them selves. Those that write them are no much better than paramicium in that all they seem to have done over the last decade or so is swim around and around in circles and multiply. Blogs have gone from just a few to millions. They are like grains of sand multiplying every time a new wave comes in.
Speaking of waves, the scoffers at Mr. Gore are nuts. If we don’t stop the “fever” of the earth, we will all be cooking, in fact, the sea rising 20 to 40 feet is all that may cool us off.
Meatbrain (you know, that really is a pretty stupid name, and Thinking Meat? Not very original, nor is it descriptive of anything except of someone with a pretty pathethic imagination) why don’t you start over with a real blog and some real thinking, not the claptrap you usually post here. Did you really say, “Speaking of waves, the scoffers at Mr. Gore are nuts. If we don’t stop the “fever” of the earth, we will all be cooking, in fact, the sea rising 20 to 40 feet is all that may cool us off.”?
20 to 40 feet? Wow, been drinking the Koo-Ade a tad? The IPCC doesn’t see that amount of rise…”The IPCC now projects, in its mid-range scenario for carbon dioxide emissions, that the maximum-scenario rise in global sea level in this century will be around 17 inches.” http://www.heartland.org/Article.cfm?artId=21212
That is 17 whole inches! My God, hide the women and children!
Oh, and BTW, here is a little tidbit your beloved Messiah Mr. Gore forgot to propagandize, ”...the accepted global average temperature statistics used by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change show that no ground-based warming has occurred since 1998. Oddly, this eight-year-long temperature stasis has occurred despite an increase over the same period of 15 parts per million (or 4 per cent) in atmospheric CO2.” http://www.theminorityreportblog.com/story/steven_foley/2007/06/18/ipcc_shows_no_ground_based_warming_since_1998

If if were, I just might like these illuminati guys. As it is I can’t afford camp.

I could use some fresh air.

LibsinLiberty,
You are correct about the entire Thinking Meat thing. You can answer him with a logical answer and more often than not he sticks his fingers in his ears and screams his questions louder and louder. Either that or he sets up another strawman argument when he knows he’s trapped.
And Global Warming. Not convinced that it is manmade at all. It is a political movement (and power grab) that has taken on almost a religious zeal about it. Very disturbing to say the least. The environment should be protected, but right now its the blind leading the blind as far as this topic goes.
Thinking Meat,
And John Murtha? He’s entitled to his opinions. Yes he served. And it was, by all accounts, an honorable service to his country. Yet his comments as a Representative concerning military tactics have been nothing but ridiculous. Redeploy to Okinawa? WTF? His immediate indictment of the Haditha marines as cold-blooded killers well before the evidence was all in and a trial was convened. Winter Soldier anybody? And his desire to cut and run no matter what in Iraq, well, I think many disagree with his hardheaded run to run up the white flag (just as those who argue that George Bushis hardheaded with his desire to fight “imperial wars for oil.”).
So does John Murtha deserve to die a heinous death? I think Raven might have been speaking in hyperbole (Thinking Meat.. google it). She has a strong love for the Marine Corp and our armed forces in general. She also supports the war. Representative Murtha is percieved by her (and I’d argue many others) as being a staunch enemy to both. Therefore she said that she hopes he is killed by the bombs that the terrorists will inevitably be blowing up in the U.S. if the policies that he, and a majority of the Dems, espouse. Does she actually want harm to come to him, or is she exaggerating both her great dislike for him and his policies?
I don’t expect you to understand that though. You simply are trying to play a “gotcha you evil hatemongering neocon ha ha” game and then argue ad nauseum.

False. I ask a question repeatedly when it is obvious that the person replying has not answered it, or have chosen to give an evasive or irrelevant answer. That’s what Raven is doing here.

Is “WTF?” supposed to be an actual counterargument, or is it something your kind says when you don’t actually have a rational counterargument?
If Murtha actually made such a suggestion, is that reason enough to wish him dead?
Is that reason enough to wish Murtha dead?
What, specifically, has Murtha said that indicates he wants to “cut and run no matter what in Iraq”?

Double false. You ask the question again and again when the answer is not one you like, which you then label as evasive or irrelevant, whether it is or not.
“Cite examples, please”
In all of my dealings with you, strawmen are your speciality. Over at one of my posts I tired at answering and debunking your repeated attempts to set up strawmen. Here is the post where you attempted to set up an ENTIRE army of strawmen, a plethora if you will:
