The recent dustup over the now-failed immigration bill was built, in large part, on the supposed desire of the conservatives to see that existing immigration laws are enforced. But it’s an absolute fallacy that the right wing in this country embraces a strict law-and-order stance. For evidence, you have only to check some of the wingnut blogs out there.
I’ve commented before on the ignorance and intellectual incompetence of the self-styled ‘Emperor’ Misha, proprietor of the blog ‘Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler’. He has provided new proof that wingnuts don’t really want law and order — they just want what they want, and to hell with any thought of doing it legally. In a post regarding the arrest of an Australian man for allegedly firing a shot through the front door of his home to scare off intruders, he says:
It’s a pity that he didn’t save a few rounds for the cops. That’s the only sure way to deal with Gestapo tyrants and their henchmen who are “only follovink orderz.” After a while, they get nervous from hauling the perforated bodies of their fellow goons back to the morgue.
So Misha advocates killing cops rather than doing what civilized people do when they disagree with the law, which is to work to get the law changed. This isn’t the first time Misha has used eliminationist rhetoric. His tendency to lash out and issue death threats whenever he sees anything he doesn’t like is well documented, and has been directed not only at general classes of people who displease him, but also at specific individuals.
It is, quite frankly, an issue of maturity and moral character. Morally competent adults recognize that there are many, many people in this world, and a lot of them won’t agree with you about some or all issues. Morally competent adults understand that threatening to kill someone, or advocating that they be killed, is neither a rational nor a productive response to disagreement.
Misha, obviously, qualifies as neither morally competent nor as an adult. Perhaps he’ll grow up one day and learn a few morals. I, for one, will not be holding my breath.

He clearly has childhood issues. Not sure it’s worth even bothering with that guy.
His mother never hugged him or something, I don’t know.
It’s funny to watch, more than a little disturbing and most definitely not anywhere near credible political insight.
They parrot Ann Coulter today hoping John Edwards is killed by terrorists.
Classy stuff.

Lessee,,
thinkin’ meat wants to portray Misha as representative of a major part of the conservative reactionary hypocrites, ready to kill LEOs because of TM’s disgust of Misha’s recent anti illegal postitions.
Yep, that’s right. Well, let’s get high minded!
The attempt to foist their imaginary crap as mainstream conservative positions are a jump that would scare the hell out of Evel Knievel, but is considered solid linking logic in their highly ( ! ) intellectual world..
Such a luftig bunch.
Referred is a statement regarding a clear-cut case of self defense (on another continent) and the English Crown’s disgust of that critically important right ..as evidence to label everone opposed to illegal immigration as a murderous anti-law gun-nuts,, here in The States
Well fine, at least ya got the gun nuts part right.
I do so admire tm for the high ambition of trying to tie all this diarhea together with his simple minded duct-tape, but IF he’s going to understand what’s really going on, he’s going to have to work on his reading-comprehension, and give the highminded distractive crap a break.
Lofty phraseology and cheap distractions got wore-out in the 60’s.
Whipping it out in converstion these days is like embossing “Kick Me” on your calvin kleins..
Relax meat, it’s all just a bumper sticker.

False. I portray Misha as advocating the murder of police officers because he advocates the murder of police officers.

Your words:
“But it’s an absolute fallacy that the right wing in this country embraces a strict law-and-order stance”
Changed your mind already?

No. Advocating the murder of police officers stands in direct contradiction to a desire to see laws enforced, since murdering police officers is a lawless act.

Taking a person’s words out of context and spreading them using the largest brush in the drawer is just dandy and pretty much comes natural, if you’re one of two things.
A troll or a politician.
You actually have a website, so I can’t deem you as a troll.
Probably not a politician.
Hmmm… Maybe just a newbie who wants to score points in Leftyworld?
Probably.
If you’ve really read Misha’s site, you’d know he’s a friend of the law.
Of course, if you wanna make some retarded statement, only to score hits and try to get a few readers, you’re going about it the wrong way.
Try a writing class, or maybe have something semi-interesting to say in your blog.
Honestly? You have a big ass bag of empty and now you bore me.
Good day.

So, Now you say Misha’s sentiment has nothing to do with the rest of the conservatives?
Do you even re-visit what you write?
Look, I’m not one of your domestic trog’s that can be distracted so easily.
My analysis of your complete message, as you stated, remains intact and true.
And just so’s you can very easily heap me into Misha’s category, I ALSO feel that if LEO’s are enforcing “laws” as in New Orleans clearly contrary to the Consitution and damaging to the population, I will also step forward and intervene.
Sometimes cops are indespensable, sometimes they’re murderous.
Some of us know what to do.
Sort your issues out. READ!

I did read, and you wrote it.

“They parrot Ann Coulter today hoping John Edwards is killed by terrorists.”
And YOU parrot the heavily edited talking points deliberately used to misrepresent what Ann actually SAID.
For a brief primer with her comment, in full, IN context:

Don’t you be talking about anybody “parroting”, my little cockatoo.
You can apologize to Ann now or, better still, learn how to read.
Those who WON’T read are no better off than those who CAN’T read.

Oh, and if you absolutely must know, my mother, who is a lovely lady whom I love and revere, hugged me incessantly. She still does.
She also taught me that some things are worth fighting for, such as freedom from tyranny and questioning authority. Oddly enough, back in my early, strongly left-leaning years, that last part was considered a virtue. Obviously that has changed. Today it’s only a virtue as long as it’s the right authority you’re questioning.
A pity that. At least my fellow lefties in my youth were a force to be reckoned with. Nowadays they’re just a sorry, self-contradictory joke.

And naturally, Dick immediately contradicts himself by returning to make another comment.

Cheapshot911 tries desperately to paint himself as a Brave Square Shouldered Steely Jawed Protector of the People… and manages instead to merely demonstrate that he is, in fact, a wannabe criminal. It is pathetically simple to get such moral incompetents to reveal their true nature.

Misha has yet to demonstrate that anything has been “heavily edited” in the discussion for Coulter’s latest verbal upchuck. She said:
The statement that Ann Coulter hopes that John Edwards is killed by terrorists is an accurate characterization of Coulter’s words.
Yet Misha’s mother clearly failed to teach him that murder is an immoral and lawless act.

I’ll give you the rest of the quote that you obviously failed to read at the link I provided for you:
See?
No, you don’t.
I mean, you’re already in parrot mode, squawking the same two lines over and over again in hopes that they’ll sound more convincing with mindless repetition.
You’re slipping, meatboy, which, in your case, is something that I would have thought impossible.

Most folks learn, at around age 13 or so, that the “But-Mommy-everybody-else-is-doing-it-too” defense is not a valid defense for one’s own actions. It would appear that neither Ann Coulter nor Misha ever understood that particular life lesson.
The statement that Ann Coulter hopes that John Edwards is killed by terrorists is an accurate characterization of Coulter’s words. This is true no matter what anyone else in the world has said or done.

The right to keep and bear arms was put into place to protect us from the GOVERNMENT. The enforcement organs of the state are in fact the police.
So, yes I can imagine a circumstance where armed resistance to the state is conceivable.
No, I’m not advocating killing cops, but resistance to a tyrannical government? You bet.
It always amazes me that those on the left are really the authoritarians among us, willing to submit to Big Brother. Until they come for you.
