I never said if you did not serve you had no right to discuss something, what I said is if you never served you have no right to mock the service of another (which is what dan was doing).

It’s funny to me, just how fragile you are – that you feel you must beat your chest over your long past military career in order to validate what you know is a ridiculous perspective.

Don’t be so certain, Dan… the “big dog” types haven’t really thought out their viewpoints, and thus don’t have a clue that said viewpoints may be ridiculous (or worse).

The dead giveaway, of course, is the ‘if you didn’t [do something or other], just shut up’ tactic. It’s a sure indication that the speaker isn’t able to defend his/her views on any other basis.

I don’t recall saying that I would come kick your ass (I generally do not make threats on the internet) though if I ever had the desire to do so I don’t think you could stop me. Personally, you are not worth the cost or effort for me to find you. You would not be worth the little bit of sweat I would work up to kick your ass. It just would not be a challenge. I would probably have my son do it so I would not have to get dirty. If you could refresh my memory it would be helpful.
