Ogre returns to his favorite pastime: lying

As usual, Ogre can be counted on to distort reality and lie outright when pursuing his goals.

Ogre begins by lying about the events at a recent protest at UC Santa Cruz.

Communist, Anti-American ADULTS violently threatened and even attacked military recruiters at UC Santa Cruz.

Several media reports about the protest make no mention of any physical attacks on the persons of the recruiters themselves. Ogre doesn’t like this, so he invents the “attacks” out of thin air.

As documented by David Neiwert and Crooks and Liars, ultra-right-wing commentator Michelle Malkin published the home phone numbers of several protest organizers, knowing full well what would happen: Her groupies have deluged the students with death threats. Malkin refuses to take responsibility for her actions.

Ogre then goes on to accuse the protest organizers of retaliating in kind:

The aforementioned intimidating thugs decided to “get back” at Michelle Malkin. Using their usual tactics, they decided to try and intimidate her by publishing her home phone number and satellite maps of her house.

Naturally, Ogre produces no evidence that SAW, the organizers of the protest, have done any such thing.

The most amusing thing about Ogre’s little tantrum is that he ends it by complaining that

Serious discussion and discourse is simply not an option in today’s environment.

Remember, this comes from and individual who is a proven liar, and who refuses to answer simple, direct questions about his views.

Ogre has never been interested in “serious discussion and discourse”. Any pretense on his part that he is, or that he is even capable of such discussion, is laughable.
